ELT DIGITAL BLACK UNDERBASE
& ELT-S BLACK UNDERBASE
MESH
ELT Digital Black Underbase and ELT-S Black Underbase must be printed through 86 to 110 mesh for maximum dye blocking ability.
FLASH
Flash curing should be extremely quick. Both black underbase inks will have a matte finish with no gloss when flashed properly.
CURING
ELT Digital Black Underbase should be cured at 280ºF to 290ºF. ELT-S Black Underbase is recommended at 270ºF to 280ºF.
ELT DIGITAL BLACK UNDERBASE
This is the only ink which will allow for screen printing on sublimated 100% polyester. This high tech underbase combined with ELT White or colors can prevent the terrible dye migration so common with this fabric. Follow the technical data sheet instructions (see below) very carefully.
ELT-S BLACK UNDERBASE
You still need a soft, stretchy print but you are concerned with dye migration on 100% polyester. Combine the ELT-S Black Underbase with ELT-S Series inks and you will have the best of both worlds. This is not for use on sublimated polyester such as digital camo tees.
